Please say that TMM isn't true-metal metal. I will be upset if this is the case..instead of, you know, just saying 'metal'.

Today I received a near mint copy of Da Uvver Book ordered for quite a cheap price from Abebooks. It's a fun read and very nice to have, although instead of Da Roolz (ordered at same time) I recieved a copy of an old GW anthology of short stories called Deathwing. An interesting artifact but not what I wanted. Still, I may read it before I return it.

Most importantly, my wife and I did decide to buy a house, after a third viewing. We're signing a contract tomorrow. 8 tatami sized hobby room with closet! But yeah, garden and lots of rooms and fancy bath and that. Seriously, very chuffed with it. Lots of space for family and toys.

I hang my head in shame. but...

hey, that's what folks call it. I mean, to differentiate it from NMM, which is also, y'know, metal. 's not like I made the term up. That's just what it's called...

also - congrats on teh house buying. Enjoy that mortgage :D

As for me, I just finished Wolfenstein: The New Order. Top banana of a game. It has the dakkadakka shootiness of wolfenstein of old, coupled with a genuinely engaging and extremely well acted storyline. Actual characters that you actually give a crap about. 's very good - I'd recommend it.

And here's 1000 points of PHR!

Also I've been playing a bunch of Darkest Dungeon on Steam, which is seriously like an old-school Warhammer Fantasy dungeon crawl game in nearly every respect, including most of your crew inevitably descending into gibbering madness over the horrors they've seen. Good fun!

Edit: And it's bothering me unreasonably that I forgot to use smoke instead of blue-black ink on the turbofans on that one dropship.

That has made my day. I honestly didn't expect it really meant that..
Thanks for the house congrats. It looks like we will be moving in tail-end of next month. It's happening rather quickly.
Today was spent meeting the housing company bloke to give him some money and set a schedule. And quite a few hours were spent getting income tax forms (since I was part-time for 6 months last year), realising there was a three hour cue at the office, and trying to sort it out at home. So close to having it all done and dusted, but..my other half threw away an important pension document which we'll need to get reissued. No pinning that one on me.
What with all that, no 'fun' weekend stuff whatsoever.

Well, that's pretty fast and no mistake. It took me over 15 months between starting to look around and finally moving in. Well done. I hope the move goes smoothly.

Assembled my next batch of stuff to prime - a couple models to make my Advanced Space Crusade collection a bit more balanced, and new units for my two Dropzone factions.

(I actually took stock, and have about 750 points of marines in 40K language, although that includes silly stuff like a squad of assault marines with neither jump packs nor a dedicated transport, so.)

Been pretty busy the past coupla days, so only minimal painting. Um, painted her hair blue. That's about it...

I want to finish her by wed or thurs if possible. I'm getting worried about what needs to be done for Naghammer, especially the infinity stuff, as I haven't even looked at it yet.

I got my Necron HQ minis today, and yesterday nice Hasslefree modern trooper :-

http://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?product=r ... n-masters*

He's in metal, not resin. The idea is to use him as snipey Citi-Def Jaeger commando-type with a long rifle. Their stat lines are actually rather decent, and well worth paying 25 points more than you would for a regular Citi-Def soldier hero at lvl 1. He looks the part, even down to the gas-mask.
