Got some work done on my Triton - the infantry are done save their unit markings. I suppose that when this unit is done I'll finish up the 3 bases of 6mm Napoleonics I started a bit ago while I wait for my latest Ring-tail order to come in.

I watched some videos over at Beasts of War about the new DzC command units, and yeah, I'm going to have a real hard time resisting getting myself a Nemesis, as soon as the rules are out.

Started work on 18 velociraptors and a squad of guys in hazmat suits from Hasslefree for my club's show game this year (working title: T-Rex in the Park). Got a couple of dozen assorted mercenaries and big game hunters to follow.

What rules will you be using for?

I started out using Chris Peers' Saurian Safari rules, but they're massively fiddly, so I've ended up chucking most of that away and bodging together my own rules.

Claymore is August 1st, so you're welcome to come if you can.

Had a productive day for a change!
Buildings advanced to crap but usable status. Magnetized my wraithguard and got my alternate samurai heads. No more eggplant heads for my astrozombies!
Also fixed a doll for a friend and casted a foot for a battletech Thunderbolt mech.

no hobby for me for a while. Been hella busy with work, and the family all have a cold, so evenings have been spent either doing house stuff or unwinding with Skyrim. Tomorrow, I go to Canada for 10 days for work (bringing 12 students with me, no other teachers. Never been to Canada before. Hope all is ok...) so i doubt there will be much hobby until I get back. I'm bringing some paints and minis anyway, in the offchance I also plan to do a looooot of reading, which is something I dont get much chance to do at home, so it hopefully wont be a complete write off.

If anybody happens to know any good hobby shops in Vancouver, I'm all ears, btw
