How come you multi based the skellies?
They are for a D&D game, the guy running it asked for a horde, but didn't want to have to move around a pile of minis.

Just wanted to say well done and がんばれ! to all those preparing for the Nagoya Hammer! :)

I began work on the jungle terrain I have long had on the drawing board. With only a month it will not be as grand as I had hoped, but expect:

- the pond and waterfall
- the jungle rock outcrops
- the tar pit
- the dinosaur battle ground
- the tribal statue ground
- the ancient stone ruins
- the jungle 'forests'
AND
- the underground cave system - you better have some foot sloggers, cause nothing big is driving through them tunnels! :D

@Kojibear, that sounds amazing, look forward to seeing it! It would be perfect for pulp style skirmish games too by the sound of it.

Today I put a sketch of a Chaos Warrior online.
I'd been flicking through the old ROC books and thought I'd do a quick picture.
Off the back of that sketch, someone has asked to sculpt it as part of their miniatures range, and another guy might be commissioning me to do some sketches for a rulebook.

I'm feeling pretty chuffed :)

A bloke on the Oldhammer forum. He is looking to do a range of old school looking minis. Don't think he is any kind of industry hotshot at all.

@ Primarch: Congrats on finishing up your NagHam painting queue.
@ Kojibear: That sounds like an impressive table. I like the tunnel idea.
@ Spevna: Impressive.

Today I worked and upon returning home watched GoT. I've painted the other night and now I'll set about putting a bit more paint down on the Sicaran.

Work continues on my blob of guardsmen. I had to order a set of 100 dice for use with the lasguns.

I'm starting to think about what I want to use as an objective marker for naghammer. I'm leaning toward a simple Imperial banner stuck into the ground, as if my hero were trying to recover a lost eagle ala a Roman legion. The one banner model I currently have isn't a good fit, so I'm likely to buy one or just make it out of plasticard.

@Spev- sounds like a fun little project.

I got a lick or two of paint on my secret project and tidied up/converted some old Necromunda figures to use as Veteran Guard. If me and Lovejoy fail, it won't be for lack of shotguns!

@ Primarch: Nice stuff. Haven't been game to try OSL myself yet...
@ Kojibear: Sounds cool! Tyranids in the jungle - seems like predator..!
@ Spevna: Very cool! Always wanted to try my hand at sculpting.
