A Monthly Goals Thread

Ha! After pledging to paint something, I have in fact painted four somethings! Two goblins and two zombies for Frostgrave. Yes, the same four minis I pledged to paint back in June, but hey ho better late than never, eh.

For August, my goals are: something for warmachine - either a big warjack, two wee warjacks, or a squad of dudes. After that, probably some buildings. If any of my KS stuff arrives, paint that. Raging heroes, drop fleet commander and pantheon of chaos are all possibly due this coming month. Gonna be busy...

After a very unambitious month, I am pledging 24 Napoleonic miniatures this month.

Yeah, yeah, I hear you. But between work, family, a slow laptop and being rather lazy, I haven't gotten around to it. I should do a 2/3 year recap this month.

This month I didn't tally many minis (er...1. A Sikh Akali for Infinity. I did base coat another seven, but they're nowhere near done.) That said, I've been working a lot on constructing mdf buildings, and have managed a total of 12 gantries, 4ft of fence and one ruined house. I also watched all of season 1 of Gotham, which was very good

Next month. Hmmmmmn. More infinity, I think. I'm also kinda feeling a bit Malifauxy, so I'll see what it brings. I'll put an arbitrary target of 5 minis of some kind on the month. Let's see what happens...

This month I gave myself a 24 mini goal. I would most likely have met it but I detoured from it. I finished 12 infantry models and 6 cavalry models. If I count the rider and horse as separate minis...

So I'll call it a 75% completed goal... or if I am going to assess myself by MBOs... a fail.

And as for pictures or other evidence you'll just have to wait. (I'm not going to turn on lights in the house when the family are all sleeping. Anyway, it's too hot to flock yet.)

The deadline for the Overlord game is creeping ever closer, so this month will be pretty much pure BA stuff as I try to get everything done.
On the painting bench for September I have:
2 German AA guns.
20 Commandos.
A Bunker.
2 Landing Craft.
There are loads more minis on my to do list, so I expect to have more done as and when I can free up some time.

Getting kind of lonesome in here.
For October I will paint:
The beaches of Normandy circa 1944. Not all the beaches obviously, but a representation of them.
Tank traps and barbed wire.
A light howitzer and a medium howitzer.
A bunker.
2 Landing craft.

So this month is mainly going to be scenery.
