A Monthly Goals Thread

Last month: 100% (I successfully avoided the pitfall of writing down any goals.)

This month: Assemble and paint 4 half tracks! And paint one more officer for my 16th Polish regiment.

Last month: jack diddly squat. Unless you count buying pre-painted minis? In which case I'm up by, like, half a dozen. Yay! High five!

Meh. Last month was an odd one. In terms of painting, I got nothing done, but nonetheless I spent a fair bit of time on hobby stuff. I assembled a kraken and half a dozen or so other cryxies, as well as making bases for them as well as some other chaps. Probably about a dozen all-in. I also heavily converted a Seether helljack, which was a bit of a bugger since it's all metal. Lots of fiddling about with milliput was done, anyway. I think I may also have finished up some mdf buildings, too. Anyway, lots of hobby, no painting. Ho hum. Next month: some painting will happen.

Getting kind of lonesome in here.
For October I will paint:
The beaches of Normandy circa 1944. Not all the beaches obviously, but a representation of them.
Tank traps and barbed wire.
A light howitzer and a medium howitzer.
A bunker.
2 Landing craft.

So this month is mainly going to be scenery.

Once again, i failed to produce a painted mini this month. However, I did spend a lot of time painting. It's just that the Kraken is a bloody big chap, and it's taking a while to reach that end zone. But, the base is done completely, legs, head, gun and tentacles are all basically painted, so all that remains is the bronze on the main hull (a not insignificant task) and then weathering (important, but tends to go fairly quickly.)

Goals for November: This month I shall be painting a Frostgrave gang. If time permits, I'd like to finish that Kraken, but we shall see.

Hmm, it appears I didn't make a list of what I was going to paint this month. D'oh!
I painted 12 Fantasy Minis and 7 Post Apocalyptic minis if anyone cares....

I managed 3 tieflings, 3 half painted bugbears, 7 half painted spaceships and assembled a further 11 spaceships. Must do more in December.

Last month of the year, time for one last push on the painting front.
For December I hope to get a 4 point warband painted for Saga. 33 Anglo-Saxons should be doable by the end of the month.
