@Spev- Yes! I am on that like pox on a plaugebearer, like tentacles on a horror, like skulls on a beserker, like a big, silly ponytail on an eldar..... looking at what I want in a warhost right now.
Oh, should mention I took a most pleasant bike ride to Prim's Citadel the other day to do a bit of horse-trading. Or I should say, big-gun buying. boom boom boom boom. Love me my Earthshakers. Funny how half-price GW prices are about what you'd expect to pay for a plastic model. The Prim, as he is wont to do most generously tossed in some extra bits, and much to my surprise makes a rather good cup of joe for an Englishman!
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

I'm in Tokyo for training this week, and having the evening to myself and put up in a hotel in Ikebukuro, I popped into the Warhammer shop just outside the station. GW store as one might expect. Mostly I stepped in to just get the sight of all minis. They've got a fair bit of nice minis to look at including th new Genestealers. Had a chat with the staff, mentioned our forum and then hit a local Craftbrew place. I had a couple of small beers. I'm weak but they were potent. "Romanchi-ku" IPA was interesting and delicious. I can say the second "Ise Kakudo Brown Ale" was good too, but less distictive. Went down tasty and easy. I think I'm drifting more and more the way of IPAs.

Oh, yeah, I bought a GW mini and WD on a lark.

@ Konrad, MiJ, J-R: I'd be interested in tagging along for a mini or two on the KS.

@ Spevna: congrats on the KS. I suppose the fact the project is already funded is proof of the quality you and your partner have put in.

@the Disciples- The fickle finger of Chaos has poked me in the eye and I did not notice until I was signing up for the Kickstarter that my card expires this month. My bank was very helpful though and got right back to me the next morning with, "It's been ordered but due to international shipping we can't say when it will arrive." That being said, I'm in for a Warband, if someone else can put up the cash. I will pledge my soul as collateral and a pound of flesh as interest.

I've painted up the 25th Anniversary Crimson Fists marine:

(The Emperor's Champion and Sergeant Centurius have been painted for a decade or more now :) Centurius celebrated his twentieth birthday earlier this month, in fact!

And the old Captain Cortez miniature, and some dead guys. I might make a wee diorama with these and the anniversary model, on a big oval base.

And the 2012 Games Day Blood Angels Captain:

and then I got a little silly ...
