I worked, and now I'm dying to paint, but I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Seoul! So, I guess I will part myself from the hobby for several days to experience other things in the so-called real world. :|
You don't sound that excited about this Seoul trip :) is it business?

Speaking about the little ones my wife and child came back from the hospital today! Good to have them home.

Other than that, I worked, and i am glad i entered a life insurance before I started this career.

I must've just missed you. I popped in around 6:30.

Today I assembled my GW watchtower kit.

no worries Seb - if you lose your balance you can just grab that handy cable running past your head :P

Today I did a bit more painting of TOD. And hey! In a shock development, I actually have pics to prove it for a change!

@Seb - sorry, shoulda said earlier - congratulations on the baby and wife back home :)

@Kbear
Hmmmmn. iirc, it was:

P3 Umbral Umber base
GW Tin Bitz all over
Shade by adding GW Orchide Shade to the Tin Bitz. Keep this semi-transparent. Shade as though for NMM (That is to say, divide the blade into top and bottom sections. Shade one right to left, and the other left to right)
Shade more by adding some black to the Orchide/Bitz mix. Take this all the way to pure black at the extremities.
start adding in GW Boltgun Metal to the Tin Bitz and highlight as if it was NMM (as per the shadey bit, but backwards)
Once you're onto pure BGMetal, add in some GW Mithril silver for the very edges, and for the tip of the blade.
Redo the junction of highlight and shade with thinned Tin Bitz, just to pop the colour up again.
Wash selectively with thinned GW Leviathan Purple (In fact, pretty much the whole mini has been liberally doused in Leviathan Purple. Works very well with green, yes it does.)

It probably took longer to read and process all that than it does to actually paint it. It's not that fiddly.

After dinner I did the first two layers (of three) of flesh tones on some Romans and also a couple of Celt chieftains. Hopefully I can get the third and final layer done tomorrow which will just leave me with the shields to do before basing them.

Caught up on some new Dr Who and recorded some radio comedy pieces.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.
