Doing a bit of last minute cobbling for Naghammer. Bashed together rear compartment to turn my Basilisk into a Chimera. Squatifying a Mortar team too. Maaaaybe get it actually painted in time for the big show.

Re: What did you do today.
Got a couple of games of BA in today with Mikball's SS taking on my inexperienced French horde.
First game was Top Secret, where I managed to grab the objective, but the sneaky SS manged a clever counter-assault and fled with the objective. I had a chance to stop them, but a FUBAR saw the only squad with half a chance running the other way....
Second game was hold until relieved, which was quite the bloodbath. With Mikball's Panzer IV doing nothing all game, the French mostly ran riot although the ending was tense with an SS squad assaulting and wiping out a larger French squad to capture a building near the objective, before being worn down by two successive assaults by 10-man french squads that left 16 Frenchmen dead before the 6 SS men was taken out (actually 26 dead including the original squad in the building!). In end end a bloody and hard-won victory for the defending French.
Thanks Mik for coming over and playing and looking forward to NH!

Ready...aim...Fire!

Who's tank is obsolete now?

Cheers! Due to points limitations I'll be using it as a standard light gun (not a vehicle), as the model is to nice not to use!Primarch wrote:@YS - I love the Portee. Very cool.

Big cheers to Yellowstreak for the games and beautiful scenery - ze SS have regrouped and are out for revenge. Poisoned cheese grenades packed for Sunday.
I had my first experience stripping paint from minis with Dettol. Works a treat, but I can't get the stink off my hands now, lol.
Came across these galleries of Peter Jackson's massive Gallipoli diorama - being put together by the Perry bros.
Worth a look.

Re: What did you do today.
Yesterday I finished painting up my Threshhold team for Strange Aeons. I plan to bring them along Sunday so I thought it best to have everyone painted.
The official SA minis aren't terribly detailed, but they painted up quite fast. Agent Smith in the center is a Reaper miniature I did earlier.

Why, why did your minis make me think of Josie and the Pussycats? Strange Aeons breed strange associations.Auxryn wrote:Yesterday I finished painting up my Threshhold team for Strange Aeons. I plan to bring them along Sunday so I thought it best to have everyone painted.
