Not much painting the last couple of weeks except for some chaos warriors.

Aside from that, I've been pretty busy with art work. I've just finished some concept sketches for Macrocosm and Four A miniatures, and I'm working on some pictures for a couple of new Kickstarters too. I also stupidly agreed to scratchbuild a Land Raider in exchange for some minis :o

Nice work, looking really good!

What wargame is that from? I don't personally recognise it as warhammer AOS if it is, but I've been out of the loop a long while.

Cheers Washoi. :)

They are from an old German range called Metal Magic first produced in the 80s.
The plan is to use hem for WHFB 3rd ed and Dragon Rampant. They might even end up getting used for Saga.

Love how Spev's , "not much painting these last 2 weeks" is about 10 times what I've got done. That being a mole-mortar Squat and a couple of other Stunties to the base coat stage. I did some puttering around on the Diggachicks after a long hiatus. Found all sorts of rough spots and blobby details I thought were looking pretty good last time I looked.

Over the weekend did the first model painting for over 20 years. Not to disappointed with the results.

Look forward to seeing a few pics :) Well done mate!

I have been a bit sick the past few days and spent the weekend in bed. I managed to watch an old Sean Connery Bond movie which took my mind off of feeling rotten for a while.

Modelling and hobby wise I have got about 10 British Airborne ready to be painted, and finally assembled a caravaners gang for This is Not a Test. Oh and put together 30 Horus Heresy marines. Once my hectic schedule calms down a bit in July - probably why I got sick - I'll get started on the painting.

@ Kojibear: Get well soon!

A quick update on stuff done recently. I've been proceeding very slowly with adding paint bit by bit to the 13 voltiguers I'm painting up. I washed them up last night. However, recently I've been distracted by playing occasionally computer games and catching up on stuff to watch, not that I see much. Then there's family time and work, work, work. So, with luck I'll be adding a bit of paint to the voltiguers tonight.

get well soon, kbear.

I've been doing more Total Warhammering. My VC currently hold Altdorf and Marienburg (as well as all of Sylvania, of course). The Brettonians (Bastonne, to be precise) are giving me a lot of gyp, and the incoming chaos horde is an ongoing worry (Archaon, Sigvald, Archaon's Lord of Change (wotsisname) and a Dragon Ogre lord are all menacing their way around the north of the map, currently besieging some lonely Empire outpost. I'm feeling a bit picked on, truth be told. Nobody wants to ally with me. S'not my fault I'm a vampire, is it?
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

To all TNTers, Dredd-hedds, 40KFanatics and Grimdarkians, various and sundried, you see this? Mantic is making some pretty slick lookin' industrial ruins. Most tempting. As my hobby time (very little) is greater than my budget (next to nothing) I'll probably pass, but damn......

I think this is the first Mantic product I have seen where I have actually been tempted to make a purchase.
