What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
@ MtP: good looking lot of Russians. The 210th Anniversary of Austerlitz is coming up this December. Any plans in mind for it?
@ Konrad: Aww, I missed another epic rumble!!! Beautiful mayhem!
Worked a bit last night on highlighting on the Polish Voltiguers. However, I spent an equal amount of time disapaiting myself in Rome TW 2.

No painting for me today. To celebrate the day Ten Pin Bowling first came to Japan, myself and 207 of my Mitsubishi coworkers* went to the world's largest bowling alley (116 lanes), which happens to be right next to the factory. Afterwards, a the other players from the HR section and I went out for ramen. Not a bad way to spend the evening really, but I need to knuckle down with a brush for the rest of the month.
*I'm not directly employed by Mitsubishi, but I spend all of my working time at their factory in Inazawa, rather than my employer's office in Nagoya.

@prim - that sounds like a fine way to spend an evening.
As for me, I watched 3 eps of Preacher, drank beer and ate cheese and crackers. Not a bad show, and sufficiently different from the comic to keep things interesting.

Spent the evening driving some Space Marine ships around in Battlefleet Gothic. Three words: Homing. Boarding. Torpedoes.
Ugh, need to buckle down and paint up some Germans by Sunday though. At least a basecoat, Dave, geez!

Not the best day to be a Russian Soldier@ MtP: good looking lot of Russians. The 210th Anniversary of Austerlitz is coming up this December. Any plans in mind for it?
Speaking of which, I painted up some more Pavlovsk Grenadiers to fill out my Grenadier Brigade. Under a strict definition (2x brigades x 4 Battalions) I can now field a WHOLE division of Muzhiks.*

Now, let's get back to the New Zealand Wars.
*Actually, although they were not partnered as such, the units I have would exceed the unit strength and 'numbers' of many so-called Divisions in that Peninsula sideshow the Brits are always droning on about

Let's see, this week I talked with a lawyer. Investigated Japanese fraud and tax fraud laws, as well as car ownership laws and other fun filled things that have nothing to do with the hobby.

That sounds like an absolute joy of a day.Colonel Voss wrote:Let's see, this week I talked with a lawyer. Investigated Japanese fraud and tax fraud laws, as well as car ownership laws and other fun filled things that have nothing to do with the hobby.
I hope that something beneficial came of it and that you can sort out some of the issues from your previous employers.

Re: What did you do today.
yuck. Sounds grim. I'm glad you're talking to a laywer, though. It's always good to know where one stands, legally speaking. (I'd throw in some comedic remark here regarding how horrible lawyers are, but since my dad's one (retired) I probly shouldnt.)Colonel Voss wrote:Let's see, this week I talked with a lawyer. This is wholly seperate from them. They're on my list next, but this one is rather more complex and thus rose to number one litterly overnightPrimarch wrote:That sounds like an absolute joy of a day.Colonel Voss wrote:Let's see, this week I talked with a lawyer. Re: What did you do today.
Sat down with a brush for the first time in a little while last night and got a fair amount of work done on some biker gang figures. Got my US Airbourne cleaned up and ready for undercoat as well, will need to start working on them as we head to OVERLORD!
So many games, so little time....
