And finished a Digga. Not that happy with her. Pose is too, static, stomach too flat, lumpy fingers ( not as lumpy as the pic shows them, you can't see the ends) and some undefined bits in the wrapping and "armor", but 1 learned a lot. Fairly uninspired paint job to boot.

Got a new one in the works. She is a bit of an improvement.

And I'm painting sum Boyz too! Just for something completely different.

Back in Japan after a two week break. Absolutely shattered, but it was fun. We went to Manchester, Newcastle, Durham, Cambridge, London and Ely. I didn't do any model shopping, (I had three Airfix kits waiting at my parent's house though), but I did come back with half a dozen new books. I didn't watch much TV, we didn't really have time for it.

Anyway, I now have a dozen different ideas for new projects, painting I want to do, new terrain to make, etc. Sadly we still need to unpack and get ourselves in order for work on Monday.

@Konrad - I like those skimmery doo-dads. Very cool.

My painting time has been limited this month, but I did finish off a few minis.
Some figures for D&D and Malifaux.

Today I enjoyed a very bloody game of Frostgrave at Chez Spevna, in the company of Kbear, Ystreak and of course Ser Spev himself. By the end of the game we were down to about 2 or 3 minis each, and while a few of those absent had carried treasure off the board, most of them were due to being hit onna head wiv a big stick (or blasted with a particularly pointy Bone Dart, in one case.) Anyway, it was a very fun game, so many thanks to everybody who made it so.

Ps, once again, my apologies for the salsa. Mea maxima culpa :cry: :oops:

Not hobby related but we had some nice weather so I took some old friends on a long Hobbit hike through the countryside and visited a tea shop at the end of the road. Much cake and tea were quaffed. After that we caught a lift back to town and enjoyed cider along with some live folk music in a beer garden. Some excellent fiddle playing and much dancing from pissed up locals was witnessed. Today I may be visiting a Games Workshop! The plan is just to browse. :)

@Prim Welcome back to the land of punctual trains and timely schedules, glad you enjoyed the holiday.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

@Konrad: Nice rides. With contraptions like that I almost want to live in the 41st Millenium.
@Prim: Welcome back. And we'll don wish the Marder.

Today I woke up at 5:30 am, hopped on the Shinkansen, trained for 9 hours in Tokyo main office and now I am riding back home. It was day 6 of a 7 day stretch of work, so I can't speak much for hobby progress. (Unless one counts purchases; I made a small purchase of Perry minis and bases. Once again very fast order turn around.) I'll try to get some basing or priming done on the next day off.
