Yesterday I managed to get all my minis painted and unpainted into 3 big boxes. With a bit of jiggery pokery they managed to fit in the loft. After strategically hiding bits of scenery and terrain into the corners of bookshelves I'm now at full capacity. See you when I'm 70 and it's all painted. No more shopping! :)

@Konrad Nice Muti's, I like the way each model looks like a mini diorama. Makes me want to watch the Mad Max films again.

Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

today I finished my first ever infinimini! I went with the same scheme as the box, since I haven't had time to read the fluff yet, so have no idea what colours are acceptable. I'm fairly pleased with him, although as always the camera is Mean and Horrible.

Been slowly, slowly, trying to finish up my last two projects. Got most of the last Mutie Disk finished, and started putting a base coat on it. I'm going to try and make an Oyumaru mold of an Ad-mech, zap gun, the stock mostly, and try and rig up a rifle in a holster to sling on a gear rack. Still need to finish puttying the driver.
And slowly, slowly, putting the final details on that last Digga-chick. It's slow work, as there are lots of little flaws and details that need sharpening and smoothing and if I do too much at at time, I just smoosh my carefully sculpted detail.... Grey stuff sets pretty quickly. I managed to do a bit in the morning, and a bit in the evening yesterday.
Once these are done, I'm going to clean up my tools and tidy the bitz box. Then....more Diggas maybe..... I want to build some with crossbows and things. Get primitive!
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Ive been gaming a bit recently. I had a game of X-wing against moyashimaru on Wednesday, which saw my brave rebel B-wing, A-wing and Hawk facing up against his evil imperial oppressor Tie Interceptor, 2 Tie fighters and Vader in his Tie advanced. A close game, but in the end the B-wing's dakka won the day. I really like the X-wing game. Lots of fun :)

Today, I played several fun games against Primarch ad Kojibear (many thanks to you both, especially Prim for hosting.) Malifaux was a close run thing (on lovely terrain) with Prim's Guild taking on Kbear's Outcasts and my showgirls. In the end, the lovely ladies of the Star Theatre won, due in large part to their ability to pull scheme markers out of their knickers at a moment's notice. Then I played a couple of games of Infinity against Prim. The first game was...mercifully brief. My Pan-O got absolutely annihilated in about 2 turns. Probably best considered as a lesson in what not to do when playing infinity. Game 2 went considerably better, with my dudes actually hitting some stuff, and not dying immediately to the return fire. Overall, my impressions of Infinity are that it rewards actual tactics and knowing how to play, but it's definitely a rewarding gaming experience.

Thumbs up so far for the summer holidays :)

Well, despite being ganged up on by some of Malifaux's less law abiding denizens, I was able to walk away with my leader alive (only 1 hit point remaining), so I will count that as a moral victory.

I had a great time playing two of my favourite skirmish systems. Both Malifaux and Infinity are very involved systems, but well worth the effort. If only I had enough time to play them both as much as I want to.

I had a great time today getting my malifaux crew on to the table. Viktoria lost her spirit sister to Lady J's special justice, but the loss gave her the good sense to hang back and letthe ronin ladies do the walking. Lady J's hulking , gatling gun wielding, frankenstein-monster also taught the mercenaries a hard lesson. I was lucky enough to avoid Colette's and her showgirl's attention, slipping behind their lines.

Thanks to Primarch and Me-in - Japan. :)

Today I succumbed and just bought some X-wing ships. I realised I actually play X-wing more than any other mini game recently, despite not owning a single thing for it. Figured I could justify a minor buy-in, at least, if only to provide variety for my opponent. Still, I fear for my gaming future, cos that game is dang addictive (btw, I got 6 ships, including one big un for 6700 yen, which, given the large amount of actual rules/cards etc that come boxed with each mini, is not a bad deal at all, I reckon.)
