That's another thing that is doing the rounds now. Finecast or Metal?
As for the molds, a lot of them got chucked out. While skip loads apparently. They do have the masters though.

I'm just going to wait until the 15th rolls around. Anything we see is pretty much speculation at this point.

I am compiling a wish list in my head as I type this though.....

Apparently they do still have the facilities to cast in metal, according to some posters on a couple of the Tolkien botherers sites. Recently out of production GW LOTR stuff has been resurfacing, some of which I've picked up, 'cos I like it a lot (though I don't like it at the Japanese prices and won't pay them).
In terms of material used, the rule for the SBG stuff seems to be that the minis are reappearing in whatever they were in their last incarnation, hence the Scouring of the Shire set and Gandalf the Grey foot/mounted are back in metal (Hurrah!) wheras Gothmog is back in Finecast (Ho-hum). My guess would be that it goes the same way for this new initiative.

That's another thing I read. The reissued minis will be back in weaver material they were originally cast in.

No, that is the one thing that will never, never happen.

An my random speculation is that they will cast them in Reaper Bones-like polywhatsitthane. It will be called, Collector Cast and only cost 45 GBP per model.

Did a little bit of work on some bits and bobs for my 6mm British while I wait for various things to arrive in the mail.

Today was my last chance to get some painting done for a couple of weeks as I'm headed OS for work. Got 25 plastic US glider infantry done bar the basing and 1 US half track almost done and another assembled and undercoated.
So many games, so little time....

Today I actually painted something! Haven't finished it yet, mind, but a start is a Good Thing. I put down some base coat and basic shading on a Kraken (dunno why the urge to paint a bleedin' huge monstrosity suddenly came upon me after a 6 week dry spell, but there ya go... :? ) I've also done his base, which was a mini project in itself. Hopefully I'll finish it before the Nag game at the end of this month, as I anticipate returning from that with an armful of spaceshipy goodness (I know, I know, don't hex it... )

In other news, I was playing my son (aged all of 4 years old) at simplified X-wing today. Somewhat stunned when he actually, properly outmaneuvered me. Don't know whether to be embarrased or proud

My ex wife deleted all the pictures she ever had of me from facebook but left her in them. So now she has the memories of herself as if she was on those happy days out on her own. Rather like that photo from Back to the Future that Marty carries with him. Erased from existence. :)
I've not been well and have been thinking about taking my own life and actively planning to do so. The hospital have me on suicide watch and I am thinking of admitting myself to some kind of care in regards to this.
In other news, albeit good news I have assembled 20 Frostgrave cultists. I don't wish to alarm anyone but thought a problem shared is a problem halved. I can't understand how someone would delete 8 years of their life and shared memories like that but I can understand why someone would go to such extremes.
We live to fight another day. Cheers lads.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

@Ashmie - Who knows why some people do what they do. Be positive and keep looking forwards. Think about how your family and friends would feel if you did go through with anything self-destructive.

It's just a suggestion, but giving your ex's Facebook page a miss for a while might help you get some distance and perspective.

Feel free to vent here if you want to.
