Managed to get a bit of paint on some Gorkamorka terrain I've had sitting in my locker for a month. Might get if finished off if I can get a few more days in the school art room. Got in a bit of puttying on the Diggachicks when I got home. They have lips! Getting the faces to the point that I can start the final Miliput-ing and fix the details.
Itakura lent me his Engish editon of Frostgrave. I almost missed my stop I was so lost in it. That Pantheon of Chaos Kickstarter comes in, I'm painting up some Thugs and going for it. Might dig out some bits and bobs and kitbash some myself. It would be a useful "I have a leftover blob of putty that is to hard for detail work but don't want to waste it." Side project.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Went back to work last night and pretty much finished up a probably-superflous fourth squad of Fallschirmjagers. Since November's game day is on a Saturday, and what's more a busy Saturday so I won't be able to go, there's a bit less fire under my butt to actually paint. When they're done I guess I'll work on some Napoleonics til Dropfleet arrives? Not much on the plate at the moment, really.

Also I just ordered a couple buildings from Gamecraft to wrap up this project - my largest single expenditure for the project, ironically.

Finished my first test figure for the cult....Image
It's been quite a while since I've painted a GW plastic. I have to admit they make great figs....
So many games, so little time....

Just something small (Kill team-esque) at this stage.

Those Stealer Cultists are awesome. I just wish they had made them 15 years ago....
Got a drybrush on that terrain. And am now pondering Frostgrave/Mordheim/would work for Strange Aeons in a pinch terrain.......

Orange, the Dutch brigade? ;)

Monday my Girlfriends Daughter moved in, got some closets from the old place, so my hobby room is finally starting to look decent. And while i was looking to make some Shoulder guards for my Forgefiend (it only comes with one pair) i found some a Dark Age miniature and an I-kore miniature, nice additions for my growing inquisitor group.

This evening I cleaned up some Reaper Bones minis and then played Battlefleet Gothic on the PC for an hour or so.

I finished up my last squad of Fallschirmjagers and, with nothing really pressing to paint til Dropfleet arrives (and speaking of, an update arrived today: two of their packers are in hospital with back injuries, which means they've been working hard I guess?) I entertained thoughts of, in turn: getting some post-apocalyptic dudes in 28mm, getting some British Airborne and also maybe a recce halftrack for my Germans in 15mm, getting some science fiction dudes in 15mm, and getting some chaos cultists and/or genestealer hybrids for my ASC set. I managed to summon the willpower to hold off on all those ideas, fortunately, and decided to paint white leather belts on three dozen very small British dudes, while eyeing in a meaningful way the 6mm ancients I bought a few blisters of way back when. Also played some XCOM.

5 Frostgrave cultists base coated.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.
