Fantastic work, jus!

I blocked out the colors on some elves this evening, while despairing at the pretty poor detail on some dwarves' hair and thus deciding to go with only guys with their hoods up. So I'll need to prime some more, and I've just run out of spray, so a run to the home center's in store for the near future. But that'll give me a chance to prime my little Zvezda Sturmtiger as well, so that's OK.

@Pikey - Nice AK recon. I have been looking over my collection of unbuilt minis and I reckon I can do the Goering Division in Italy fairly easily, though I will need to buy a couple of extra trucks.

This evening I finished an 'orrible little goblin. Not the finest of fine minis, but characterful, I suppose.

on an unrelated note - my brother sent my son a starter set of these new-fangled pokemon XY cards. As a follow up, I did a bit of research regarding the current state of the game, as opposed to the pokemon cards I'm familiar with, circa twenty odd years ago.

Sweet. Baby. Jesus. Those guys could teach GW a thing or two about squeezing every last cent out of their customers, I can tell ya...

I finished up some elves.

Think I might start on Gandalf tonight while I get a few spare dwarves and goblins primed up - I don't really feel like painting Legolas, partly because his color scheme doesn't "go" with what I've got running for the good guys here, and partly because the Battle of Five Armies movie sort of put me off him. Maybe I'll rewatch Fellowship over the weekend to get some of the love back.

Finished up old Gandalf Greyhame today:

It's been fun, although I'm pretty sure I don't have anything you could actually play the Lord of the Rings game with.

(The idea is that this, plus Radagast or a hobbit or whatever for an Apprentice, will be a Frostgrave warband if nothing else.) I've got a small contingent of Dwarves to do, and a few more goblins just because, and then, like some insatiable painting locust swarm, will be looking for something else to turn my attentions to. (Probably either some likely-looking additions to my Malifaux force - although I'd rather play some games before I do that - or an Infinity starter, or both, depending on how much hot water I'm in for how much I spent on Steam this month.

)
