Thanks TOD. One of these days.
Hive Fleet Skeksis has I nice ring to it. :)
I watched the Dark Crystal a while ago with my little girl. Every time something cool happens she was , "CG?" Me, "No, no, it's a real puppet." We are in the middle of T2 now. An education in the Classics is what separates the gentlefolk from the
hoi polloi.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Dark Crystal is a trip. Have you ever seen the original cuts of the Skeksis scenes? It was all in Skeksis language with no subtitles. They're hard to find online but the DVD's got them.

Yesterday I felt really ill due to anxiety, bad food and the meds. I was thinking to cancel everything but I pushed myself instead. I managed to make breakfast for Mum for mothers day and take flowers. Skype with my son. Go for a drive with my parents. Play with my niece, using what she calls my little men (miniatures). Speak with some of my parents old friends who visited (normally I hide upstairs because the anxiety is too bad when we have guests) and finally played Call of Cthulhu online live for a few hours. My favourite game. Today I'm drained and tired but I'm glad I got through without cancelling my plans.
Small steps I guess.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Lots of projects on the desk for malifaux and horus heresy - slowly slogging through!

This was a quick paint I did for a D & D wild elf character I played in a game back in January. I achieved what I wanted, which was to create a very imposing and uncompromising looking elf but without looking too evil. I was happy with the palette choices and base, but I didn't spend a great amount of time blending or being too careful - just a basecoat and two or three highlight job. But I was overall quite happy and enjoyed role playing this axe swinging elf of the forest wilds. :)

@Koji - That is an axe and a half right there. Chop! :D

Last night I painted some spots on a panther, a pair of sandals and some scrolls on a wall. My painting desk is full of wildly different minis and bits right now.

My first little swamp-house is complete, a creepy old shack for a creepy old lady.

I bet they have candy inside!
