Continuing my painting fever, today I did up this warm body with an autopistol - er, I mean, brave Imperial pilot that's been knocking around in my bits box for a while.

And lo, my Frostgrave warband / excuse to paint up some Lord of the Rings minis I had is finished - turns out I had some hobbits in the bits box after all, so Frodo gets to be an apprentice. I'd have painted them all up, but Sam's frying pan broke off and then what's the point of Merry and Pippin if you don't have all four? (OK, painting up Merry and Pippin to use as rogues or whatever Frostgrave allows might be fun.)

Nice Other Dave. The Marine reminds me of the character Mike from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fame.
Good work on the Tolkien stuff also.

Last night I worked on some terrain for NagoyaHammer, finished painting my entry for the single mini category and did some work on my diorama and old school entries as well. I don't know if they will all get done in time, but I'm going to do my best.

"... is going to be up against theat mad genius Konrad!" thanks Pike.
I got the final touches on my entries done last night. Not the greatest paint job or conversion job ever, but it's big!

still painting mine. Never before have I had to repeat the mantra "broad strokes. Broad strokes. Broad strokes" to myself. Keep defaulting to blend-every-fiddly-detail mode. Doesnt help that I'm somewhat sleep deprived right now (weans keep waking me up at night  ) but progress is being made. 3 days to go...
