Put a second coat on my marine torsos and finished my dark elf army list. Now time to develop the background for it and names, etc. Primed my primarch of my vanguard chapter and the terminator captain.

@ Yellow: Nice! Big, ugly and mean-lookin'!
Actually, that isn't so "nice" for the dwarves.
I finished the decals and then varnishing over them a couple nights ago. Now, I'm going to paint around the decals, add a wash, highlight and add pigments and brush on other effects before sealing them with varnish. At least that's the plan.

Re: What did you do today.
Nice butcher! Looking suitably grimy and gore-streaked.
Last night I stripped a FW resin mini for the first time. Very carefully. I'll probably do a bit more tonight, but so far simple green seems to be doing the business. My only concern is leaving it in too long an having it eat the entire mini. So far so good, though. I also went to work on my hellbrute with a hand router. He had it comin', I tells yer!
Other than that, I played bio shock. Found that bigger gun I was hoping for, but also got a magic bio power thingy that lets me mind control the big bads anyway, so it's a bit moot.

Came to the dangerous realization that I can make my Epic Eldar force a legal Iyanden force (they're painted in Iyanden colors but I use the Swordwind army list) for just a few thousand yen.

AFAIK Simple Green doesnt eat models, but I have no idea about resin. I've left plastic in it for months with no issues.me_in_japan wrote:Nice butcher! Looking suitably grimy and gore-streaked.

Didn't do an awful lot today. I got my 95th Rifles unit based, now I just need to varnish the two metal models in the unit and they are done. I also started painting the bases of my RA Howitzer and my 92nd Gordon regiment.
@Spevna - That looks like a rare find indeed, well done.
@PV - You may want to take another look at the relationship between Marine chapters and the Primarchs. Only one chapter actually has a Primarch and they keep him in a display case.
