Naruhodo...

My advice would be to get a drill bit the same size as the flight stand (without the silly nubbin at the top. Snap that off before it snaps itself off) and just drill a flight-stand sized hole in the warhawk. The flight stands are slightly tapered, so if you choose the correct bore drill you should get a nice tight fit. Or, just use wire and glue everything together. I get my wire at florists shops and craft stores (the kind of places that sell wool, thread, cloth and other such girly accoutrements.)

Today I went shopping for groceries, went to a coffee shop and spent a few hours putting paint on some Napoleonic British. And I drank some proper English beer as well. :D

In which I have already finished painting 40k weapons, based my new 40k imperial terrain and started painting a dark elf building (alas I have chosen the dark side). So now I will get back at it while I hum Xmas tunes and dodge the inevitable fight that is brewing like I have a +2 ward save.
Without knowing the extent of the ladies wrath, I will merely wish you the best of luck and a very Merry Xmas! Pop in a sweet Xmas song and bring out the mistletoe. You never know!

My poor Mrs has a cold on Xmas eve, the poor thing. :(

That meant a quiet day at home. I finished off the rocky base. Here you can see Maugan Ra laying down cover fire while the troop transports bring the fight to the enemy forces.

Nice hangar. especially with falcons parked in the handicapped spaces. Bloody Xenos!

And not even the +2 ward save was enough to save the day. lucky for me, I also had a Black amulet and was able to come out of it unscathed! And I was able to get all the machine paint done on my dreadnought afterwards with her checking out what I had done that day. Oh ye of little faith.

Got done paiitingup some of my marines torsos and legs but a bit sick and have to work today. I hear you about scrooge.

Also came across this today. My grey knights have always wanted a titan.

Khador is the opposite, everything is so top heavy that you have to pin it. But it's worth it. :D

*brrrr* I feel your pain. One thing I found useful on my leviathan was to put his feet in a swamp. This allows you you sink the feet into the ground and actually get a strong connection to the base.

Ah, so the liquid water would harden around the feet and lock it in place. :)

Last night I watched The Fellowship of the Ring on the telly. Today, I assembled and undercoated that Balrog that's been at the bottom of the miniatures pile for a decade. I'm so easily influenced.
