What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
@ Ashdevon: Your civil war project is a testament of perseverance, steadiness and passion. Great to see it come so far over the years. I can see that the battle of Torrington is not so far in the future. Keep it up! (Love the mixed pile squares and musket lines. I’ve always toyed with doing a regiment that served with the Marquis of Montrose or seeing if people wanted to do the battle of Marston Moor, but I suppose that’s for the future...)
@ Karantu: Awesome! Mixing like planks for 40k and futuristic skirmish games. Did the daemon prince win the battle royal?
@ Jye: So, so jealous. Wish I had a place in my collection for a sister army. Should be a joy to see it across a gaming table. (Well up to the point you start administering righteous catechisms with bolter and flame.)
Not much to report on the hobby front. But I’ll post soon.

Re: What did you do today.
I've been generally... *waves hand vaguely at the world outside* these days, so not too much hobby progress, but I did finish up the Ambull and am getting started on the Plague Marines for Blackstone in fits and starts, and starting to have to really resist the urge to plan how to bulk out my Space Marine Heroes plague marines into 50PL or so for the release of 9th. Hopefully a bit of actual gaming this weekend up Ichinomiya way should get my yaruki back up too.
Feel free to call me Dave!

I do not own the rights to the music by The Levellers England is my home and Over the hills and far away an old English folk song from the 1700's.
I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I did making it.

Re: What did you do today.
I havent really posted here much of late, not because I'm not interested - I still check in most every day, actually, and it's great to see the minis/terrain that everyone is producing, but because I really havent done much hobbying recently. I've been plugging away on MtG Arena, and am still very much enjoying it. I played a game of Commander against Grim Ironjaw on MtG Online this evening, and found it to be very fun (swings and roundabouts. I lost one game even after producing 168 tokens in a single turn because of one 1-drop enchantment GI had in play that made em all come in tapped AND gain him 1 life for each of them (yuck), but, otoh, I won a game after I mulliganed to 4, which was nice
)
I also painted this, which is just another borderless basic land extension, but it is at least some painting, which is better than no painting at all

ps the top right corner bugs me too. Can't be helped, though - it's not like I can dunk it in the simple green and do it again. It doesn't really show up once it's sleeved, anyway. Still - lesson learned: keep yer paints thin, and dont rush.

@M_i_J - Nice work. It's impossible to tell where the original ends and your work begins.

That's brilliant MiJ. Is that a blank card that you have painted?

Re: What did you do today.
MiJ, very nice!
Over the past couple days I painted up some Death Guard for Blackstone:

A very orthodox job, just to see how it would work, and 100% contrasts aside from the preshading - as you might expect, Contrasts plus Nurgle is pretty much a match made in heaven. And this basically (once again) wraps up my backlog, aside from some very low-priority, low-motivation stuff.
So I need to think about what to do next, and that might be starting up a second Titan Legion for Titanicus - my Griffons need a traitor force to fight, and some mid-Heresy Legio Mortis with lots of rust and weathering might be just the trick.

Re: What did you do today.

Last few minis for Warcry tomorrow! Including a familiar face who fell foul of the Daughters of Russ' regressive gender policies. Russ' loss is Sigmar's gain.
