Foodstuffs + Paint = Terrain

That's pretty great.
I made one piece of nid terrain using cherry and tomato stems for tendrils and cherry pits for eggs/spores.

And if you must eat your scenery, avoid anything red or yellow. Cadmium poisoning is a real bag of hurt.

Obviously!

Since addition is commutative, if Food + Paint = Terrain, then Food = Terrain - Paint.

I do like Germy's blog. he has some great terrain ideas and nice little downloads too.
