just a thread to discuss new FW stuff, as and when it is worthy of discussion.

Some recent FW stuff has been ass (eg the demon bambi we were afflicted with not so long ago) but that bloke Edgar Skomorowski really knows what he's about when it comes to Chaos Dwarves. Seriously, I dont play fantasy, but if I did itd be CDs aaaaall the way. These chaps are just kickass...

Incidentally, I just picked up the Forge World Painty Book volume 2. Partly cos I was bored, partly cos I have the first one on my HD and actually used it a bit for technique, so I feel I owe em (hey, I happily pay Miniature Mentor for their tutorial product. GW may annoy the shit out of me at times, but that's not a reason to not pay em for something you use that they make.) I also cracked and bought the 40k rulebook (again, I'm bored and need something to read.) I did, however, order it from Wayland (Maelstrom were out of stock.) Now, I ordered it on Tuesday (it was listed as in stock) and yet it is still "processing". Does this perchance mean they dont really have it? I am moments away from emailing them to find out. We shall see...

They are nice, no doubts. But the faces remind me too much of the WHFB giants. I wish the faces had been a bit more dwarvish.

Hmm, if i ever do any fantasy army, it might just have to be chaos dwarves.

When I first saw it I thought it was a conversion from the WFB giant kit.
