Date announced for Japan Golden Demons 2013

The Japan Golden Demon/Games Day will be Monday, September 23. Tickets go on sale June 22, price to be announced.

If anyone's interested in Armies on Parade, that's on July 27, with the finale at Games Day Sept. 23.

It's not nearly the same scale as the British one, but they do have the painting competition, the Throne of Skulls championships, a scratch-building contest, and other little events.

As for me, this year is once again a no-go. Proof, if such were needed, that the great god of painting likes me not. What lame-ass excuse do I have this year? My wife and I are expecting our second baby on September 9th, that's what. Not really much I can do about it. Hopefully there will be a good show this year, with quality painting and an actual trophy, which will encourage GW to hold the event again next year

Try the old, "Let's got to Tokyo for our anniversary dear", give sufficient time for shopping. Then it's, "I'll just nip down this ally to see a CD shop love". Next thing you know you are holding the Golden Daemon aloft in victory and still back in time for a slap up meal.
