Vacuum formed terrain facades

I the price is right, and you arent adverse to a bit of work, these could be bloody useful.
I am tempted to get a load to make a WWII bombed out city.

Those look like a nice idea. I've tried using vac-formed plastic buildings before, but they weren't very strong. Using the plastic as a facade for a foam core construction might be just what is needed.

In principle, aye - nice idea. Would depend on price and workability of material. Jaggy edge might be a problem. Anyway, worth keeping an eye on, I'd say.

I remember we had a few vac formed bits and bobs at the old FLGS. Not much detail, couldn't get very sharp edges. The fine scale modelers would sometimes use the technique for airplane canopies, and the like, smooth rounded stuff.
