His latest brainchild is the Painting Buddha Academy. It's a tad complicated, but it basically works like this:
Painting Buddha will film and produce 42 miniature painting tutorial videos. These will be done by people who have won a seriously large number of golden daemons between them, and produced to as high a standard as any painting vid I have ever seen (and I should know, having paid over a hundred quid for such things over the years. Miniature Mentor I'm looking at you here...). You, the viewer, have a choice:
1) Watch em on youtube at 720p resolution. Pay nothing. Get better at painting.
2) Pay some money for better resolution and more involvement in the project, and perhaps a warm cosy feeling of having helped out a nice chap with a good idea.
The point of my post here is not to suggest anybody pays money to Painting Buddha, but is more just to point out that this is a stupendously good resource for anybody who wants to get better at painting. Seriously - these vids are easily as good, if not better, than any other painting vid I have ever seen. Also, Michael Bartels seems to me to be a very decent chap with his head screwed on right and a clear vision of what he wants the mini painting community to be (i.e. helpful to each other).
So, here's the (somewhat complicated) page that describes what I just described but with more details and more words:

and here's a link to the youtube page. The 3 burna boy tutorials make up tutorial 1, and horus is tutorial 2.
