My wife and I headed out to check out the Ichinomiya event today, and it was pretty cool! Thanks to our friends at Plamojuku, gaming figures actually had a really substantial presence, and while I'm biased I thought they stood out brilliantly from the gunpla stuff.
(not to say there wasn't some cool gunpla, and not to mention the super dedicated Porco Rosso modellers in flight suit cosplay)
I'd seen some of these figures before in the Plamojuku display cases waiting for their big day, but it was still impressive seeing them properly set up for show.
100 Imperial Knights:

Ochiai-san's Warcry in a nutshell:

Really awesome spider about to get a Stormcast dinner:

I love the shoulder patterns on these Knights:

Omega Marines with clever reuse of Ultras transfers:

A bunch of terrain made from Daiso hamster houses!

Good times, and everyone was so nice with such pretty figures that it improved my wife's opinion of my silly hobby
