Painting pink...

how can I make this color a bit more butch..

Ain't gonna happen man.

But if you want a more helpful answer I would start with purple as the base colour and add a little pink for the next layer. Continue adding a bit more pink for each layer until the final highlight is pink.

That might make it a little more manly but you will still be rolling with a pink army. You might want to invest in some hot pants and grow yourself a Freddie Mercury moustache do go with your new pretty army.

yeah dude. I hate to say it, but pink is never gonna cut it as a macho colour. If it will help, next time I see you I can give you the bottle of not-pink I mixed up for those Tau...

well it I like that color it is a very nice shade of Salmon... fitting for the Tau I think...
