Magnetizing My Daemons

Hello all

Just got my first bloodletter unit and..
I thought about it a lot and just finished my first daemon magnetizing and wanted to show it.

Image

The unit is glued to a 22mm washer which is used as base. The washer can easily be transfered between square and round bases.

Here is the tutorial that inspired me:

I would have thought that simply gluing them onto the round bases then using movement trays for when you want to use them in Fantasy would work just as well - at least for infantry. Round bases rank up just as easily as square ones on a movement tray, after all.

hmm?
you are right.. I completely forgot about the movement trays in fantasy
Well I only did 2 so far so not a big problem. I will have to use this technique on pieces that don't use movement trays later anyway so it was good practice.

good philosphy, that. And you will definitely be using it on the bigger guys, so as you say, no harm done :)

I'm a big fan of magnetizing stuff. Just wait till you start customising weapon fits for thinsg - makes it so much easier...

I've been magnetising CEF Battle Frames for Heavy Gear. Now, in a model about the size of a Space Marine, I have seven magnets. This is getting ridiculous. :)
