Golden Week Progress Report

Greetings.
Hopefully more than a few of you are working on something special for this year's NagoyaHammer event in Golden Week, I know I am.
So to help us all focused on what we still have to do I figured a thread updating our progress towards completing our latest army/unit/big gribbly monster would be fun.

For my own project, I am building a new 2000 point army. Details will remain top secret until the event itself, but the army consists of:
6 Vehicles, 8 40mm base infantry and 59 25mm base infantry.

So to get this progress report rolling, this is what I have done/still to do.
Vehicles - 0/6
40mm Base Infantry - 2/6
25mm Base Infantry - 25/34
However, every model has been built, primed and undercoated.

I have very little left to do.

Depending on the army.

Blood Eaters / World Angels. Need a bit more blood spatter and they are done.

Tau need Three vehicles three terminator bases models . Ten normal infantry and about ten drones

Deamons have heaps of work left on them.

Orks lack a heap of infantry

It may come down to the army I have painted rather than the army I want to play. I am sure it will be fun though.

The fiends and flamers just aren't going together right and since the radiation scare sent my GW boss back to Italy, the screamers and horrors will be coming late. I'm not going to be able to finish it on time

done a bit, past coupla days. 4 wyches, to be precise. If I can get that unit finished, get all 10 hellions done, and get maybe 1 raider done before the day, just so's folks can see what I'm aiming at, I'll be happy.

of course, what the above figures fail to make clear is that every single fecking vehicle (raider or ravager) entails painting not only the tank but a further 4 or 5 crew members along with it, which drags out overall painting time no end. Thats 23 infantry, just to get 5 tanks painted (plus the tanks themselves, of course.) grumpf.

of course, what the above figures fail to make clear is that every single fecking vehicle (raider or ravager) entails painting not only the tank but a further 4 or 5 crew members along with it, which drags out overall painting time no end.
