CMON Crystal Brush Awards

well, they competition was yesterday, and the results are up, for those who care.
Probly the best way to see em is just go to the homepage and look at the newsfeed on the left.

my thoughts:
- the pics of the submitted minis were too small. They were very, very hard to judge from that distance.
- The trophy is Huuuuuuuuge! How the hell is she gonna get that home? (answer: pay for a taxi with her 10,000dollars prize money, probably
)
- the standard was high, but not as high as I had expected. I guess because the minis have to be submitted in person, it makes it hard for all the international types out there to compete. Fair enough, though - anything sent in by email could be photoshopped, I suppose.
Anyway, the more painting comps that pay well, the better, I say.
