Does anybody know where I can get an eldar shadowseer and deathjester? the new ones, I mean, not the weeny old ones.

I could buy them from GW direct, but itd cost me 11 pounds for each of them, inc postage.
I could buy them from Wayland, but itd cost me 11 pounds for each of them, inc postage.
I could buy them from Ebay, but itd cost me 11 pounds for each of them, inc postage.

Does anybody know anywhere I can get these models without paying a ridiculous amount in postage? Just wondering...

ps has anybody else noticed that Maelstrom no longer stock most eldar models. Just a thought...

Have you noticed that Wayland dont stock them, they just order them direct from GW themselves?
The best solution is:
Order them from GW direct @ £16.40 for the pair
Ship them to your folks @ £0.00 due to GW's free UK shipping.
Have them put the figures in one of those padded envelopes.
Postage should be less than £5.60

not a bad idea, but in the past coupla weeks my folks have already sent over a pair of shoes and 3 PS3 games for me. I dont want to keep asking them to go to the post office on my behalf. Surely there must be a way I can get the figs without spending over the odds or inconveniencing the folks?

Its not that big of deal, i just find it odd that these minis, which are surely in every eldar player's army, are so difficult to get hold of compared to most other figs.

Its because they are direct only. Even GW JP doesnt stock them.

*sigh*

ordered them from Wayland. If profits are to be had, Id like other companies to share in em, at least a bit. I also got Urien, those chicken jacks for Cryx, and some more hellions, to be converted into beastmasters when I can be bothered.

Does anybody know of any good nekkid elf (or elf-proportioned) torsos that might concievably fit hellion legs? Wood, High, and Dark elves are no good - theyre all too armoured (even the woodsies, which surprised me.)

I think I remember seeing someone did some Amazon torsos. At work now and Googling "half-nekkid, fantasy, warrior woman miniatures" might set off an alarm or something.
Green stuff is an option. Just hypothetically, I couldn't say from practical exerience. I certainly have not er.... enhanced .... any of my Mordhiem miniatures. Certainly not.

Micro Arts studio do amazon torsos.
Not sure of the scale mind. They are for 28 mil, but that doesnt prove anything.

If anyone is ordering from MA Studio, please PM me first eh? :D

:D just goes to show how mucky your minds are :D

I was actually meaning male torsos, purely because the GW beastmaster model is a bloke with no top on, and I want my beastmaster conversions to look recognisable as beastmasters, not hellions.

That said, nekkid female beastmistresses could be a goer.

Of course, all this is dependent upon ToD getting those Rackham minis he was talking about a while back. No beasts = bored beastmasters...
