Thanks to everyone for coming. It was a good event and I think everyone had fun (well, except Rob, but he does love to gripe, so...) A major thank you to Stu for organising the whole thing and for taking a loss on (financially). We really appreciate the work you put into the events (I think I can speak for everyone on this un...) Good luck with the WHFB event next month - all Warhammer fantasy players - go to Stu's next event, please!

Also thanks to Stu's missus and to Mike for supplying beer (and doughnuts), and personally, thanks to Ash, Mus and Miguel for fun games. And Phil, too, I spose... :P

I promise to build something cool with the buildings! Probably slimy, but cool!

Thanks to everyone who played today and helped moving boxes. There were some beautiful armies on the tabletops. Kudos to M_i_J for pulling out all the stops and getting his Eldar looking stunning. Everyone got a perfect sportsmanship score, which is what I was expecting given who was playing.
I have to admit to being very tired after the event, its a hard job answering all those rules questions and bouncing back and forth between tables, but worth it to see everyone enjoying themselves.
I hope that the WFB tournament can have the same fun, friendly atmosphere this tournament did. I also hope we get an odd number of players all day so I can get some games in too. :D

I'll post the pictures I took after I have had some time to sleep.

Seems like Japan has a very healthy game going in the Nagoya area.
I hope someday I can join you.
I am a bit surprised to see that eldar won.
Do the marine players over there just not know how to beat them.
I guess badruck's orks would have been good how did he do? also how did prime do?
What was the final score?
Were there any nid players?
How about blood angels?
sorry so many questions... i feel like I know you guys lol.

I only played one game to make up the numbers (Badruck missed the first round). My Dark Angels did ok, but the game finished on turn 3 as I was constantly being called away to answer questions. If the game had continued....who knows. I'm sorry that I couldnt give my opponent (Miguelsan) my full attention.
MiJ had a very strong Eldar list, geared towards killing marines and it did a very fine job of it too. Miguelsan's Imperial Guard did ok as well. Every one of the other 6 players brought marines in some form or another. Badruck's Blood Angels cleaned house and if he had been present from game 1 he would have won the tournament (he missed 1st place by 1 point).
