I should have no probs making one of the days with Black Powder French. Sunday 12th probably the best option. If there are no French to partner me I had best try to get that cav brigade ready.to boost the units

Strange Aeons is semi-historical in a wierd and twisted elder gods kind of way. Bring it along by all means.
I am sure someone will be willing to lend you some figures and show you how to play something.

If we are struggling for 4 players for my Fog Of War game I could either adjust the rules a little making it two player or we could just have a straight up game of Black Powder no fancy business. What's happening about Mike and his Russians?

I have two brigades of Infantry plus one of Cavalry plus guns. I would really love to get the full Russian Division on the board at some stage. Anyone want to command one of my brigades? Any Froggies/Prussians/Brits fancy their chances.

I will also be bringing two armies for Flames of War (probably Late War Free French and Germans) plus terrain rulebooks etc. Again I'm happy to lend anyone an army and/or teach anyone who wants to learn etc

My other half has just gotten her days off over Obon, because her pharmacy schedule is always a bit last minute. Unluckily the days in question are August 11th and 12th.
Our days off don't coincide as much as we would like and basically, she wants me to spend that time with her. Which is fair enough, but also disappointing for me and for the Black Powder gentlemen, since I wanted to get the French in action again. Sorry to let you down lads, but It looks like I am going to risk the loss of a certain part of my anatomy if I sack her off for this one..

@Lovejoy - That is a shame, but in the interest of you being able to attend future events, perhaps it is best to give this one a miss. Though if it is a nice day you can always pop in to say hi and then go on a date to Tsurumai park.

@Job - We should probably have a chat on Sunday morning, as we both attend the same events we need to talk some things over, for the sake of everyone we game with if nothing else. I will say this to you again face to face on Sunday, but I am sorry I had a go at you over the forums the way I did. It was totally the wrong way to handle things.
