Not unless they're posting on a different forum.

I still reckon if we changed the name of it we would get more players. People may see it as bad luck to join on such a sacred time. A bit like no swimming in the sea during Obon.
I'll see Satarou tomorrow so I'll try and get him involved.
Not sure about Egor and Rich. Maybe they are busy.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

I just ran the whole "is calling it o-bomb in bad taste" question past my wife, and she says, in her opinion, the whole sacredness thing probly aint that big of a deal. It just sounds like a dumb-gaikokujin joke. However, her initial response to the question of "is it in bad taste to have an event called o-bomb on the 15th of august" was hell yes, and then she pointed out that the 15th of august is the anniversary of the bomb being dropped on Hiroshima. (whcih you may all have been aware of, but being a dumbass, i hadnt noticed). Becasue of this, I have changed my stance. Calling it o-bomb on that particluar date is not a good idea. Id even go so far as to change it at this late stage, cos it makes us all look like prats who dont care about history.

@ash - gomen, my apologies to you. I was focussing on the O-bon connection rather than the Bomb connection. My bad. You were not being over sensitive at all.

It was August 6th actually, but thats beside the point. I honestly hadnt given the Hiroshima thing a thought and it was just the bon-bomb sound that appealed to me. (since people use bombs in war).

The Event With No Name Signup

After having things explained to me very slowly and simply, the O-bon event has now been renamed.

Going out on a limb here but as the only Church going guy on the forum I would be very disappointed if we did not have an event called X-massacre over the Christmas Holiday. but having lived in Hiroshima I can kind of see what the hubub is all about.

Yeah I think there will be a memorial service in Hiroshima on the 15th this August.
It's a good move to change the name. As I said I'll see Satarou later today and try and get some more sign ups.

But would you have an event during Easter Good Friday?
