I saw a couple of the new Doctor. I quite like him. A very flamboyant cheerful, sort of a Broadway actor vibe going. I expect him to break out into a song and dance number at anytime.

funny you should say that, because they actually do, several times already in this season.

Ooh, is there a new season of The Boys? Got to check that out.

A buddy of mine told me about The Acolyte. Too bad (but not surprising) it is regrettable.

it's a bugger. The show is picking up a lot of flak for some crappy reasons (grr, internet manchild rage at black female lead grr rarr ), but unfortunately it's also really a pretty bad show. Episode 3 was the one that finally knocked me out of my "well, I've started so I'll finish" loyalty loop. I now may or may not finish the season, but I'm going to wait until it's done, most likely.

On a side note, instead of The Acolyte, I watched Under Paris yesterday. Yayyyy! This movie was a lot of fun. The first half is a semi-serious eco-messaging man vs nature kinda movie. The latter part is...batshit, but in a good way. It's by no means The Godfather, don't get me wrong, but it's really quite fun, and worth watching if you're in the mood for some sharks and some Paris in the same movie (and who doesn't feel like that sometimes?)
