I believe it's called advertising Spev.
In that industry telling a few porkies to push your product is pretty much par for the course. You don't really believe drinking your favourite brand of beer would really make you more attractive to the opposite sex, did you? Or that by driving a certain model of car that you will be as cool as Bond? Or those pills would make your todger a full 4" longer? :D
We dont expect GW to be free from flaws. We just expect them to not treat us like complete idiots. Y'know, a small email newsletter along the lines of "Sorry, we rushed out finecast. Our bad. We'll replace any faulty ones free of charge. Bear with us while we iron out the kinks in the new material" would've helped a lot.
But it would seem that you do. GW are not allowed to make any silly business decisions, raise prices completely in line with global trends, have any sort of faults with their products at all unless they are followed promptly by a personal visit to your front door by the CEO with a hand picked bouquet of daffodils. Whereas any other company's errors/faults are glossed over, ignored or put down to youthful exuberance. I thought it was only Kiwi's that suffered from 'Tall Poppy Syndrome'.

er...how so? Can you give me examples, as opposed to generalised accusations?

A few porkies????!!!!!! Making something for less than before but then charging more than before goes beyond a few porkies mate. It is just taking the p*ss pure and simple.

Silly business decisions? Do you know what the word silly means? Christ man, take off the rose tinted specs! I know you are a self confessed fanboy but describing GW business decisions as merely "silly" makes you look like a tit and seriously erodes what little remaining credibility you have.

This is a secular forum Spevna. Please don't bring religion into this discussion. Cheers. The Mod Squad ;)

Finally! Someone else noticed the huge metal key-like object sticking out of Spevna's back. ;)

BTW Spev, I heard that <insert the name of your favourite football team> are not very good and that their supporters have poor personal hygiene. Is there any truth in this rumour? :D :D :D

I'm not too proud to admit that I have indeed been 'had'. A fine wind up indeed sir, well played.

And as for the football team, it is Chelsea. Hygiene isn't the issue. Racist captain on the other hand.....

It appears to be a (disturbingly pointy) willy and an arse. Probably not a New Zealand thing, as said arse isn't woolly. :)

The wit from Scotland is half right ;)

The 3 is a pair of lips. the arrow shaped thing is well, an arrow. The bracket and star symbol are indeed an arse/ass. Can you figure it out now MIJ?

BTW AGP I've seen 'Rob Roy', your lot were being accused of bothering livestock long before my country even existed! :D :D :D :D

@Spev: Yes, my recent posts on the whole issue have been somewhat tongue in cheek in nature. I have locked in a Spevna stance for a while now to tell the truth.

Anyways, a good argument once in a while help keeps the blood thin. We wouldn't want this forum turning into a big circle jerk, would we? :D :D :D :D
