Wayland Games have made an announcement ...
Does this mean we can all be friends again, drink herbal tea, hold hands and sing kum ba ya?

What does that mean for my order?

If you'd already ordered something before the cut off point, its probably still tied up in their massive backlog. It sounds like existing orders will be processed as normal, but new orders will need to use their new system.

Well I'll be a blue arsed monkey.

Good on em. I think, having spent so much time and energy I still not about to jump back onto the GW bandwagon, but this at least will make it easier to get that "occasional" mini I mentioned earlier.

I dont care if they release an Eldar Aspect called The Freaking Cool Mofo Aspect Warrior, and its so well designed that all who behold it do cry "Dude! Theyre freaking cool!", I shall buy me no more GW minis.
Bit of a leap from that to the 'occasional' mini, eh MIJ.
Who wants to bet that MIJ and the Madmiral sign up as Outriders before the year is through. :D :D :D

pikey, me old bean, yer gettin slow. I said ages ago that I intended to get the occasional mini, just not as many as before. I believe Kheradruak was mentioned. Im on the PS3 just now, so searching the thread is a bit of an arse, but trust me - I raised the possibility a while back.

MIJ, me old china. I was just pointing out your change of position, not providing a annotated timeline of events. Can't you see how it may look to the casual observer that you and (especially) the Madmiral have both gone from a 'Spevna Stance' (TM) to a 'fellating monkey posture' rather quickly :D :D :D

Besides, you do realize, the 'embargo' has only been in force for 16 days.

Next thing you know Primarch will turn up with a bunch of Mantic Draco-chickens for his High Elves.

Distribute as applicable in lieu of chill pills -->

Dont ruin the suprise......
No Draco-Chickens for me. British Riflemen in Shakos, Afghan Militia, Panzergrenadiers, Royal Navy Marines, Steampunk Battleships, Mechs shaped like Shermans and possibly Roman Legionnaires, but definitely NO Draco Chickens.

aha, me old pikerino - the embargo stays in place right up until i buy something. I can talk in my fickle way about potentially buying stuff till the cows come home, but until I click "confirm order" there shall be no money winging its way games workshopwards from my direction. Thus, the embargo stands. Actually, Im getting very good at not buying stuff. I aaaaalmost bought some trollbloods, cos Ive wanted em for a while and that special offer looks juicy, but I said Nay! Nay, said I. As and when the time is right for trollbloods, I will buy em. In my own sweet time, not at the beck and call of special offers. Nothing against PP, like, Im just saying, yknow, oooh, check my willpower :D

Just to confirm my current stance (for talks sake, lets call it the Spevna Stance : MiJ Variant) - No GW minis at all (except for really rare occasional special purchases for reasons of pretty. F'r example : buying a squad of warwalkers cos it kicks ass in games is OUT, but buying Keradruak because the model is aces (4 armed shadow daemon - yuss!) is IN) I will, however, do my darndest to buy it in such a way that GW see as little of my money as possible. e.g. Wayland, or possibly even second hand via ebay. Essentially, its a Spevna stance with fine print :D

The image that formed in my head from this is one of you sheepishly looking over your shoulder to see your wife standing there with her arms crossed, glaring at you.
