Man, I watched this in the cinema. Then I remember we went to an arcade parlor. Ah...memories.

This is gonna earn me even more wrath than my professing my love for all things GW :D but IMHO the 'Three Amigos' kinda sucked. Apart from 1 or 2 snigger worthy moments it was utter rubbish. Not a classic under any set of criteria. The only 'hilarious' movie which is worse than the 'Three Amigos' is 'Spaceballs'.

Hmm...might be worth a watch with the kids and wife. It's a cute movie.

You will get a few chuckles out of it i think. Have a look at the snippets in youtube first perhaps.

It's not a 'good' movie by any measurable standard. Steve Martin, Martin Short and Chevy Chase are all comedians who in my opinion should never have been allowed near a microphone or camera. I think that individually they aren't funny and as a group there couldnt possibly be a worse cast for a movie.

That said, The Three Amigos is entertaining in it's own little way. Its the sort of thing you can watch whilst assembling models or doing some painting or something.

The Three Amigos is so funny, it's transcendent, sublime. Can't say more than that, nor will I attempt to explain it to the unenlightened.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Steve Martin is a f...... (ahem) very talented actor and movie comic

Bill Murry is my favourite film comic from the 80s. Have you seen him in Coffee and Cigarettes with the Wu?

Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.
