I never understood why "Tilt head right back, look through bottom of helm" wasnt a valid command. That and "Draw sword you picked up earlier. Batter annoying elf/jester/monster into submission, steal his gear." Thats how an RPG
should be played.

I had never actually realised quite how lucky I was as a child to have this kinda thing on TV. I mean, how many fantasy role-playing game based TV shows can you think of? Did you know it ran for 8 seasons? thats pretty dang well done, I reckon...
Also, treguard was ace. Top quality acting from that chap
Dealt with the kids very well, all the while staying in character.

Gah, the players of Knightmare had NO imagination.
Treguard was cool though. I always imagined him being exactly the same in real life as well.

Mate, that show was the mutt's nuts!! And ditto M_I_J, I can't think of anything even close to it.

I got to audition for the show once, with 3 fellow nerds from school. The woman asked us a bunch of questions that were meant to make us think like a team (e.g the one about the stopped clock being right twice a day).
Nothing came of it but the show wasn't renewed for another season anyway. Still a good memory though, I loved that show!

Technically, this IS about Role Playing. Knightmare was a UK TV show where players LARPed on TV.
