Other gaming sites in Japan

Hi all,

I thought I might make a topic to share other sites by and for gamers in Japan.

I'll start us off with one some of you may know: Realm of Rman, which was set up by one of my friends from my Fukuoka days. It's all in Japanese, but there is a bulletin board, and most importantly a huge gallery of often ridiculously well-painted miniatures. (Including - holy crap! - actual evidence that I used to play 40K.)

Also of possible interest to us Nagoya folks is We-Hammer, which has news and reports about our Kids Land events.

Finally, I don't know how often, or indeed if, it's still being updated, but for a while Wargames Japan was a good place to find clubs and gamers across the country. I haven't poked around there in a while, but who knows?

Absolutely. Gaming with those guys once a month back in the day really made me step up, painting-wise - to the extent that my fundamentally lazy nature lets me, anyway. In my previous group, I'd never even really done base decoration but was still at the top of the heap, then I start playing against guys showing up with stuff like this, this, and, well, this.

(Those last are Furies, by the way. The idea is that they get infected with chaos gas bags and float around the battlefield, or something. Horten-san is a kind of a... weird dude. He also painted this for BFG.)
