Hey guys,
Im in Tokyo and looking for a friendly club that plays Warhammer Fantasy and wouldnt mind a newbie joining. Ive found a couple of people here and there around tokyo but no groups.
Japanese or English groups are both fine. My Japanese is 'ok'.

Hmmm. Can't help you with Tokyo clubs (I'm in mie prefecture, south of nagoya) but I wish you the best of luck finding one
In fact, if you do find one, let us know - it could come in handy if someone else finds themselves in your situation later. Regardless of your quest for somebody to play against, please feel free to hang about these forums and chat with folks. We're a pretty welcoming bunch, and should at least be able to help out with any hobby withdrawal you may be having
I don't play Fantasy myself (more of a 40k/Warmachine/Malifaux man) but there are plenty on this forum who do. By all means jump into any conversation that seems current, and if you have any questions, please ask
See ya on the forums

Hi, Thanks alot for the welcome and the info. Great site by the way!

I'm not much good for Tokyo info, either, but there's definitely groups, both Japanese and foreign, in the Kanto. There's a Golden Demon event and common "Armies on Parade" events. Maybe you can meet up with people there.
As for around here in Nagoya, the two big events are Nagoyahammer 40k tournament during Golden Week and the Orktoberfest Warhammer tournie in, well, October. There's also the monthly Joshin kidland get together (last Sunday of the month).
One way or another, I hope to see you around on this site or at an event. Welcome and cheers.
