Hello, folks. I returned to the RPG hobby in GW 2009 after almost a 20-year dry spell. Since then I've intermittently GMed a Savage Worlds Pulp hack, BRP, Traveller, Call of Cthulhu and Don't Rest Your Head (a new favorite) with a few fellas here in Tsu, Mie. They are a kindly lot, and forgive almost all of my flubs as I try to regain my RP groove.
I'd play more often if outside forces would allow, but until then I make do with a once a month schedule. It's barely enough.
I'd like to type more, show off my wit, but my eyes won't stay open. I just wanted to say how pleased I am to have found this forum.

howdy franz. glad to have you in the area. Dont feel compelled to play against the admiral - there are plenty of gamers around here :D

(just kidding, he's a nice guy really, as long as you dont feed him after midnight...)

*edit* moyashimaru - howdy to you too! blimey, another gamer in Tsu. Whereabouts in Tsu are you? and have you ever considered playing tabletop games like 40k or warmachine or similar? I'm in Toriicho, by the way. Its about halfway between Tsu eki and Shinmachi eki. Fairly central, in other words.

Hello, MiJ. Getting into WH40K and such, with all the miniature buying and the painting and the setting up and the packing and the coming and the going and the yada yada... more than my schedule and family would allow, I'm afraid. Hard enough getting an RPG one-shot together. You have a big group here, or do you find yourself gaming in Nagoya?
鳥居町, you say? Used to live there myself, near 自転車会館. I'm near Tsu station still, between in and Mie Arts Center.

The plan is that I will move at the end of januari and then stay for 8 month.

As you might have discovered English is not my native language, I am from Sweden.

Sorry guys, before I introduced myself, I was posting in forum.

I am Javier from Spain, now I am living near Himeji, and I play with a very nice group of people in Okayama (Warmachine) and Hisroshima (WH40K and Warmachine).

My armies: WH40K Imperial Guard and Blood Angels
Warmachine: Retribution of Scyrah

Best regards

Heya Javier - glad to have you on the forums. I've just started playing Warmachine in the past 2-3 months, too. (I play Cryx.) Himeji is kinda far from Tsu (where I am), but maybe next time Primarch has a tournament we could get in some games of WM? It's pretty popular in the Nagoya area. Not so much in Tsu (only me :( ) but I guess Nagoya isnt so far away...

New Gamer Joining In

Post by Tau_Rebelz » Fri Aug 20, 2010 9:51 pm

Hey all,

This is Tau_Reblez (John in Nagoya). Its taken me too long to get on this webpage but I can't wait to join in on the discussions.

I play:
Warhammer 40k (Tau, Daemonhunters)
Necromunda
Blood Bowl

Futrue plans are to start learning and playing Warhammer Fantasy, still in the mix of buying an army but I'll more than welcome any advice to help me in grasping the game.

Look forward to talking with you all.
