Hi there!!

I am writing this from Spain but at the end of March me and my wife will move to Okazaki. We will stay there learning Japanese for at least 6 months and during that period we will try to find a job, open a business and who knows, maybe start my PhD finally :D

I would like to bring with me some Infinity models, don't know if you people around there play the game, and probably my band from Hordes. Warhammer and Warhammer 40k only if we stablish there, too many minis...

Welcome to the forum.
I don't think anyone locally plays Infinity, but people have talked about it, so maybe you can introduce it to us. Hordes/Warmachine has a fair few players and Warhammer Fantasy/40K is pretty common. There is a 40K event on at the beginning of May if you want to come along.
Feel free to browse the forums and join in any conversations, or start new ones if you want. We're always happy to have new players in the group.

Regards,
P.

Hi there,
Welcome to the forums. Nagoya city, where most forum members are based, is only about 30 minutes from Okazaki. I live just down the road from Okazaki in a town called Toyohashi.
As Primarch mentioned, we play a variety of games and there are usually people around willing to try something new.
Good luck with the big move!
Cheers
Mike

P.S. Will you be studying at the Yamasa institute by any chance?

Hi and welcome :) As Prim and everyone have said, make yourself at home and please feel free to join in any conversations. As for infinity, I don't think anyone here plays it, but I've been eyeing up the minis for years now - they're really nice sculpts. Warmahordes and 40k/fantasy should be no problem finding someone to play against. I play Cryx, btw, and also have a bunch of trollbloods I haven't painted at all and feel guilty about

I'd recommend checking out and commenting on the "what did you do today" thread. That's where most of our day to day chit chat happens :)

So, aye - welcome on board :)

Thanks a lot for the greetings guys :D

The good thing for Infinity, for me at least, is that in one Battlefoam bag I can put three factions so no having the minis is not a problem. The rules are in English for downloading in the company site too. I know some people in Tokyo starting to deal with the game.

Unfortunately, as I don't know if we will stay after those 6 months moving my 40k and Fantasy armies is a little more complicate. Maybe I will leave a box with my Tomb Kings inside; almost everything plastic and fast to assemble and paint...

We will, yes. I was there three years ago. I had an offer then to study a PhD in Kagoshima and Tokyo so went there to see how was the live in the country. But meanwhile I was there I received a good job offer in Spain, so I came back.
Now we've decided to go back to Yamasa because is in the middle between Osaka and Tokyo, with Nagoya very near (three big cities to search for a job) and I was satisfied with the Japanese teachings.
