Is anyone interested in going to this in September on the weekend? It's 1000 yen to get in and we could do this and something else in the evening. Drinking or karaoke in Tokyo. Disneyland even? Join me in my never ending quest to find ways to get out the house.
Does anyone know if Japan has anything like this for minis and trpg/boardgames etc.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Whilst the entrance to the show isnt bad, a trip to Tokyo is well outside my current budget, especially for a show featuring nothing but Tamiya kits, Gundam figures and Pokemon.
Sorry.

That's just being negative mate. That's not all it is. This is Japans biggest games expo and it's largely video games and new robots and things. It might even be fun. A cheap way would be to take the night bus. 5 or 6 hours overnight. Anyway, I'll probably go if anyone else besides Prim is interested.

What I meant was that there is no GW, no Warlord, no PP or Wyrd or any of the makers I am usually interested in, so whilst I may look at the Japanese kits, it wouldnt really be worth it. If it were in Nagoya I might have popped along for the afternoon.

Sounds like it would be fun. If it were in Nagoya I would be be there in a flash but going to Tokyo is a little too rich for my blood I'm afraid.

Fair comments all round. @Jus OK lets check the situation after next payday and see if we can afford it with the night bus option. Go in, do what we gotta do and then get the hell out again.

Looks interesting, let me know if you're going and I may tag along. All depends if I'm in the country that weekend (have a business trip around mid sept that doesn't have confirmed dates yet)
So many games, so little time....
