There you go! Great idea! Last Friday of the month for the beer and the last Sunday for the gaming ;)

@Frans and his Tomb Kings -

Yep, most people just take the two Priests and the one Prince.

I see you have no big guys, the Sphinx or Titan?

The Necropolis Knights do seem very effective.

That sounds like a good idea! Does whisky count?

Happy to hear that you are getting in lots of games back in Sweden!

After having played the tomb kings a lot I think that it has a lot of very good things and a lot of drawbacks.

Strong points
Archers
Magic (there is some awesome boost to the number of dice)
I don’t even remember how to roll leadership

Weak point
Speed, a dwarf march 6”, my skeleton will get 4”
No core units that fight in close combat
Don’t even get me started on poison

How to play? Even a complete horse skeleton army will not be fast, accept it. Protect your characters, don’t bother dispelling spells only targeting skeleton.

If you want to use the big toys you need some tomb spiders or sepulchral stalkers to be able to sneak up on warmachines. The knights are awesome with some magicbuff, my last game I charged 8 knights into a unit of stormvermin with a bell, I didn’t end well for the brave knights. If I got some buffs off everything should be fine.

Yep, you are right Frans. I have played three games and I have found magic is really the key for this army. That is not surprising, however, as they are all 'dead', so magic is the only thing keeping their rickety old bones a'moving!

Job and his stout, sturdy and stunted dwarves ;) ;) would be a challenge me thinks!

A bit like the final few seconds of this epic movie scene

Remember Tomb kings is actually more defensive than dwarfs. I think that you could beat the dwarfs at his own game.

Then he will need to advance and normally dwarf players get realy confuced when they have to move models.... The reason that dwarf-players don't move is because they think that all dwarfs moving dies on 2+, if you let him think that you will win. ;)

MURDERER!!!! (Did you make some nice gumbo afterwards? or what is the Swedish dish of choice for crayfish?)

And the battleship you posted looks nice. I like your choice of gray-metallic you used.

As for the TK, hardy bunch and they move and shoot to give WE a run for their money in that order of business. And they aren't all too slow either in the good hands of a player like Frans.

As for dwarves turtling, that is a problem for short-legged sorts. The truth is WE actually can beat the dwarves at their own game pretty good and Koji tends to spank my dwarves in straight up, no bars hold contest. ;) Still, I've been starting to come around that dwarves make pretty good assault infantry, too. (Hey, wait a minute, you called the dwarves "stunted"! :D Good movie choice, BTW.)
