Actually if they have the stuff it would probably be classified.

Once they can do it they will do it but only for the most elite troops.

every day things get better juts like the first bionic sucked and still are not that great things get better with time and effort but you nay sayers are the same as the king of Portugal in 1490 the "world is flat, I won't help you with your sill quest to sail off the edge."

Power armour would be great for urban combat and for strike forces assaulting hideouts.

So it not only has the eyes of military but also police on it. I reckon we will see it in our lifetimes.

It certainly seems like a cool idea and as companies develop smaller and smaller systems it will become more of a possibility. The only drawback is the cost. I can't see them being cheap. :cry:

Me and MiJ are neither agreeing or disagreeing with the possibility of power armour.

We are disagreeing with your assertion that the military must be capable of building some pretty cool stuff based on what some guy made in his garage.

It would be like me making a fibre glass/plastic model of a Doom BFG and then saying "Wow, if I can make this imagine what they military can make!" Being able to make something that looks bad ass is no indication of what functional working things could be made.

Oh, and going back to your aircraft example, I found your latest work in progress ;

Looks like the Japanese are way ahead of everyone as far as powered exoskeletons go. But they are just talking about using them to improve the mobility of the elderly and disabled, not smash through walls and fight aliens. Gotta wonder what is wrong with the Japanese and their sense of priorities.
