just for those who might be interested in putting in an order at wayland/maelstrom/FW or any other purveyor of plastic/metal/resin crack from the home of said addiction...

well, it would if we could actually pay for GW products in pounds, but nae, they have boxed us in nicely by making it impossible for the fine mini selling companies in the UK to send us stuff. It's yen or nuffink, they say, and lots of em, too, if you please.

Or just buy direct from GW UK. At 117 to the pound and no VAT that's still amazingly good!

On the day GW lower Japanese (and australian/kiwi, for that matter) prices such that they are in the same ballpark as the actual exchange rate, I will consider buying from them direct. Until then I intend to keep my purchases to a minimum, and even then only buy from 3rd party stockists in order to spread the financial gains made.

Their shipping embargo to stop firms undercutting their international shops does not prevent them from undercutting themselves.
