Christmas trees

Like the title says, I'm thinking about Christmas trees. Where do you guys get em? And does anybody get a real one, or is it all plastic? I know it's possible to get a real one, cos the school does, but other than that I haven't seen many around. Anyway - I'd be interested to hear where you guys get your trees, and also how you'd rate em in terms of satisfaction.

Got a plastic one I've had for years. Just under two metres. Bought it at Nitori. Gets the job done.

Commented on the what you did today thread, but got my (artificial) tree at Nitori yesterday. You can get it all there quite reasonably so I'd recommend it. 150cm tree for 2000 yen isn't bad, lights 3000, various other bits and bobs like baubles and tree skirts . You can get more affordable sets as well, but we went a bit daft, thinking of it as an investment for the next few years. Just need some sherry and mince pies now.

One of my earliest memories is of my father taking us into the mountains beyond Kasugai to cut down our tree. I don't recommend it, but it might be one of the only ways to get a natural tree.
Otherwise my wife bought a tiny little plastic Cristmas tree at some department store. It doesn't compare to the glorious firs and cedars of childhood but it serves its purposes.
