Aotearoa

Post by YellowStreak » Fri Jul 25, 2014 3:33 am

All, I'm headed to New Zealand tomorrow for a week on a business trip. I'm going to try and drop by a hobby store at some stage and check things out. If there is anything someone would like me to try and pick up for them (nothing huge!) let me know and if I can, I will.

If anyone can recommend any hobby stores in Auckland, please also let me know! :D

Also check out Vagabond games, a small chain of indie gaming stores.

BTW What makes you think they'll even let you past customs? We have standards ya know!

Not a hobby related comment, but if you're in Auckland I strongly recommend the Occidental. It's a pub, but their oysters are frickin awesome. I don't even like oysters that much, and I was in the company of folks who, truth be told, I don't get on with so super well, but it was still awesome. They have a ton of different beers and ales, too, if that's your thing. It's in te town centre and is pretty well known.

Also, L&P lemon chocolate is pretty funky, too.

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...
