Painting setup

I had a discussion with someone recently (Koji maybe?) about painting with a magnifier. This also came up last weekend when chatting with a mate in the UK.
I only started using one with a built-in light a few years ago when I came to Japan. Now my eyes aren't the best anyway, but now I don't think I'd paint without it. In fact I wished I had one years ago as it may have helped my eyesight a bit!
My setup:
So it got me wondering, who does/doesn't use one?

I had one for a long time (the light finally burned out this past winter) but found that I never really used the magnifier. I guess my painting style is so focused on things looking good at a tabletop distance that any details I'd need to use a magnifier to paint are probably just straight up not going to get painted.

Never used one, but am curious to give one a shot, if the opportunity presented itself.

I'm thinking I need one. I sculpt and paint wearing like x3/x4 old man reading glasses these days. A lamp looks like a lot less eye-strain.
@Yella-where'd you pick yours up and how much?

Got it from Joshin, although I've seen similar ones at Tokyu Hands. Can't remember exactly how much, around Y6000 I think? Well worth it considering the amount of use it gets!
